Integrity Christian Academy After School Care

At Integrity Christian Academy, we offer an excellent after-school program that provides a safe, supervised environment for children of working parents.

The After School Care program is held inside the church’s Family Life Center, Monday through Friday from 3-6 p.m., during the school year on days when school is in session.

The cost of After School Care is $50 per month, which is due the first weekday of the month.

Parents may sign up for the After School Program at enrollment. For more details, contact the school office at 205-834-4416.

For children not enrolled in the After School Care program, their parents may request emergency after school care. The request must be made no later than 12 p.m., noon the same day they anticipate using the service. The cost is $10 and must be paid at the time of pick up.

Policy for Late Pick Ups

Parents are responsible for either picking up their children from school or making arrangements to have them picked up.

Students must be picked up no later 3:05 p.m. A late pick up will result in a charge of $1 per minute after 3:05 p.m.

Students enrolled in the After School Care program must be picked up no later than 6:05 p.m. A late pick up will result in a charge of $1 per minute after 6:05 p.m.

All late fees are due the following morning before school. If that payment is late, an additional $1 per day will be charged to your account until all late fees are paid.

A late charge may be waived if a late pick up is due to an unavoidable emergency. Examples of unavoidable emergencies are:

  1. Sudden death of a family member;
  2. An automobile accident;
  3. Major weather events (Tornadoes, major flooding of streets, etc.)

Final judgments as to whether an unavoidable emergency has occurred is at the discretion of school administrators.

To report a late pick up, call the school office at 205-833-4416 and state the time you plan to arrive. If no one answers the phone immediately, please leave a detailed message that includes your name, your child’s name, and a number where you can be reached. The staff checks messages frequently for updates.
